Community Dinner to Honor Crystal Salas-Patten
Friday, June 18th, 6:00pm - 8:00pm
Seven Directions Clinic
2950 International Blvd, Oakland, CA
On Tuesday, May 25th, the Alameda County Mental Health Board honored Native American Health Center's Director of Youth Services, Crystal Salas-Patten, for her work with children and adolescents. The award is given each year to an individual who "has contributed, enhanced and expanded mental health and substance abuse services to children and youth in Alameda County."
Crystal was nominated to receive this award because, "she has always made the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health and well-being of the youth her first priority." Crystal has worked at NAHC for over ten years and in that time she has helped shape the Youth Services department to be a place that the young people of our community can rely upon for services that are tailored to fit their needs.
It is with great joy that NAHC announces the Alameda County Mental Health Board's decision to honor Crystal Salas-Patten. In celebration of this achievement, NAHC is hosting a community dinner on Friday, June 18th. This is an opportunity for the community to come say thank you to Crystal and honor her for all of her hard work and dedication over the years.
