The film focuses on reflecting the voices of the participants\, all Indigenous people who have faced stigma in one way or another.”\nThis event is FREE and open to the public.\nLight dinner will be served.

DESCRIPTION:Place\nLake Merritt (Fairly Land Area)\n699 Bellevue Avenue\nOakland\, CA US 94610 \nDescription\nNative American Health Center (NAHC) is excited to announce our 22nd Running Is My High (RIMH) event on Saturday\, June 3\, 2023 at the Fairy Land area of Lake Merritt; 699 Bellevue Ave.\, Oakland\, CA 94610.The theme for this year’s event will be “Our Community. Our Health.” \nWe will open registration at 8:30 AM and the race will start at 10 AM. \nOnline registration closes on June 2nd and costs $20 for adults and $5 for youth\, in-person registration on the day of the event is $25 for adults and $5 for youth. \nWe created Running is My High to engage our community members from all walks of life in an event promoting physical\, mental\, and cultural health. Annually\, our 5K/10K draws over 500 runners and walkers from across the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond. This special event will feature programming that honors Native American cultural practices\, includes guest speakers\, and features outreach tables to connect our community to helpful resources. \n**Register by May 1st for our Early Bird Special: $15 for adults and $5 for youth. \nWe’ll see you there!
