What inspired me to become a Dentist: I chose to embark on a career in dentistry because it allows me to assist patients in addressing their oral health issues, which could lead to improvement in their overall well-being and quality of life. Additionally, this field offers the chance to educate individuals on effective dental care practices, empowering them to maintain their oral health.

Why I chose to work at Native American Health Center (NAHC): I chose to work at NAHC because I believe in NAHC’s mission and commitment to providing comprehensive healthcare to our community. Additionally, NAHC is my employer of choice because it genuinely values its employees, treating us with respect, honesty, and appreciation.

What inspired me to become a Dentist: I wanted to be able to help people improve their health and confidence, and I liked that dentistry provides opportunities to build long-term relationships with patients.

Why I chose to work at Native American Health Center (NAHC): I completed my general dentistry residency at NAHC, and it was always my goal to come back to work here! I love my colleagues, I love the collaborative atmosphere, and I love being so close to so much amazing food and culture in Fruitvale.

What inspired me to become a Dentist: Was interested in engineering and how the human body works. Went on a medical/dental mission trip and saw the immediate impact dentistry can have on people. Volunteered at a local community clinic where I learned more about dentistry, saw how it incorporates science and engineering, and solidified my decision to become a dentist

Why I chose to work at Native American Health Center (NAHC): Did my dental school externship here and had a great experience, so I returned for residency after dental school and never left. Great platform to serve the community with great coworkers, community, and support.
