What is WIC?
A special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC), WIC can provide your family with the following services:
- Nutritious food (WIC cards)
- Breastfeeding support
- Individual and group nutrition education
- Referral to other resources in Alameda and San Francisco Counties
Breastfeeding Peer Counseling Program
Offered in English, Spanish & Mam
The breastfeeding program promotes, educates, and supports breastfeeding in individual and group settings. Our Breastfeeding Peer Counselors work closely with breastfeeding mothers and their babies, and include a full time IBCLC Lactation Consultant. Our program offers electric pumps for working mothers and those who are going back to school.
