Background: I graduated from UC Berkeley with a Master’s in Social Work and bring with me the life experiences of growing up in Oakland and living “rez life” on the Navajo Nation and the Pueblo of Laguna. These experiences have deeply strengthened my cultural identity.
What inspires you? Seeing the growth and positive change in the individuals I serve is one of my greatest inspirations. I believe that building rapport, creating a sense of safety, and earning trust are essential steps in supporting NAHC members as they explore and work through their personal challenges.
