Crisis Support Services of Alameda County offers free or sliding scale therapy groups, both virtually (v) or in person (p). Throughout the year, these short term groups are available:

  • General Grief: For anyone who is coping with transition and loss, this group is open to all community members. (v)
  • Suicide Loss Grief: For people who have had the unique experience of losing someone to suicide this group provides space to process. (v)
  • Survivor of Suicide Attempt (SOSA): This group was developed for people who have survived a suicide attempt with a focus to restore dignity and hope. (v/p)
  • Building Connections: This group is for adults over 55 with the goal to foster social connections. People can drop in anytime. (v)
